Walking into LAUNCH isn’t just about entering a building; it’s about stepping into an immersive brand experience. For a venue of this scale, the “Launch” isn’t just a date on the calendar—it is a visual promise made to the community. At Capital Wraps, we were honored to be the architectural graphics partner tasked with making that promise visible.

The Case Study: Engineering an Atmosphere

A family entertainment center has a difficult job: it must be high-energy and chaotic for kids’ birthday parties, yet professional and inviting for corporate events. To achieve this, we treated the 30,000+ square foot facility as a series of distinct branded environments.

  1. The Party Rooms: High-Impact Murals

For the party rooms, the goal was total immersion. We installed large-scale wall murals designed to withstand the high-traffic energy of Raleigh’s families. These aren’t just decorations; they are the backdrop for thousands of birthday photos that will be shared across social media for years to come.

In contrast, the corporate rooms required a “vibe shift.” We utilized sleek, professional graphics that provide a clean aesthetic for business meetings and team-building events, proving that a brand can be versatile without losing its core identity.

  1. The Exterior: Creating a Glowing Beacon

The most innovative part of the LAUNCH case study is the window graphics. The facility needed specific front windows to be completely opaque for interior privacy. However, a standard “blackout” would have looked dead from the street.

We utilized our latest Color-White-Color printing technology. By printing a layer of white ink between two layers of full-color graphics, we created a true block-out that performs 24 hours a day:

The Challenge: When “Standard” Wasn’t Enough

True transparency—a core value we share with our clients—means being honest about the challenges. For the LAUNCH project, we faced a unique hurdle regarding the perforated window film.

Perforated material allows you to see out from the inside while showing a solid graphic to those outside. However, local municipality rules in Raleigh required these to be installed on the inside of the glass.

Because the standard materials we’ve used over our 22-year history were no longer available, we had to source new alternatives. The first two materials we tested failed to meet our standards. In a high-stakes grand opening timeline, most shops might have settled for “good enough.”

But at Capital Wraps, our 30,000-project history has taught us that the client’s reputation is our own. We made the decision to:
