When the US Military approaches you with a request to help preserve and celebrate their origins, a company would be foolish to say no. We were approached to create a museum display for the basement of the Pentagon to commemorate the origin of the Special Operations Forces (SOF). We were supplied with all the background material, documents and photos for the exhibit.
In order to commemorate the history of the SOF, Capital Wraps designed a 3-dimensional wall exhibit that highlighted the historical timeline of this incredible division. The timeline included both in-the-field photos and declassified documents. Dimensional documents, lettering and figures were produced on PVC and Acrylic to stand off the wall providing realism and interaction with the audience. We also used columns to showcase some of the current-day operations and unit directions.
While this exhibit sits behind classified barriers and is not available to the general public, we have heard great feedback from the Pentagon staff about the warm welcome the exhibit received and the success it has seen.
